Bingo Night Live was an excellent new concept for late night television for all bingo lovers. Unfortunately ITV1 pulled the plug on the game show towards the end of 2008. It is hoped, however, that the show will be resurrected in the near future.
The games were held on most evenings and it was very easy to join and get your cards. All bingo games were free to play but there were real cash prizes on offer for winners of the games.
During their 99 episode run on TV, Bingo Night Live played over 330 games of bingo with more than 20,000 winners. The show was completely interactive and included live presenters and a live bingo caller. Once you have registered for an account all you had to do was get your cards and you were ready to play bingo.
Games were colour coded and there was a prize for 1 line, 2 lines and a full house. The games were played live on the TV and players had the option of either printing off their cards to mark manually or play their cards online. Numbers were called out live on the TV and there was a presenter who produced statistics during the show letting players know who and where the winners of the games lived and how many players had won or were close to winning.
Also, during the show, each player was allocated a Lucky Number. During the show a lucky number would be called and the players with a matching lucky number had the chance to win further cash prizes by phoning in on the live show and playing live games.
