Bingo Night Live was a Live bingo television show that used to air on evenings on ITV 1. Completely free to play, Bingo Night Live allowed players to create a bingo games account online and claim their nightly strips of 90 ball tickets. Players were given the option to print out tickets or simply mark them online when the show started.

Bingo Night Live was presented by a number of famous and well known presenters and over the months it was aired, they had many celebrities on to answer questions and to play bingo along with the viewers at home. Celebrities included soap stars, pop stars and actors, and players were invited to email the studio with their questions – a lot like Soap Star Bingo on Gala TV.

Prizes were exceptional, ranging from £20 to £500 and players were each given four 90 ball strips each, with each strip tinted a different colour which represented the four daily free bingo games. One presenter would call the bingo numbers and announce winners when someone would claim, and another presenter would stand over a computer screen, showing viewers where on the map the winner was and how many times they had won previously.

Star signs played a huge part in Bingo Night Live as Russell Grant would predict which star signs would win every night, and when winners claimed, the presenters would compare the winners astrology signs with Russell’s predictions.

The Gold Jackpot was also in play on every game, and was won numerous times by lucky players nationwide at thousands of pounds.

Although it has come to an end, ITV 1 viewers and bingo fans hope Bingo Night Live returns for another season.
